Fulham Pottery Mini Mantle Vase

A smaller version of the larger mantle vase by Fulham Pottery, circa 1930s. Curved 'hands on the hips' handles, undulating body, an oval footed base with a glaze finish.

Designed by William J Marriner in 1936/37 for the Alber Ware range for Fulham Pottery.  Mariner was a long time employee working alongside Florence Steadfast who was designing her friend, Constance Spry, infamous pieces. 

Some small marks from age but great condition. No chips.

Stamped 'Fulham Pottery, Made in England'.
